Desaga double trough chambers offer all the advantages of chromatographic development of TLC / HPTLC plates. Reduced solvent use makes chromatography economical and minimizes the resulting solvent waste. Pre-conditioning the media layer with solvent vapour can give reproducible results. Placing the TLC plate in one trough and solvent in the other allows vapour conditioning prior to development.
